In April, UMO Restaurant unveils a new face: Sakura Month is coming 
From 1st of April - to 30th of April


For three weeks, the atmosphere of Japanese spring moves into UMO, where cherry blossom – a symbol of renewal and the beauty of the moment – inspires the dining experience. The menu will feature special, Japan-inspired dishes where South American flavors and spices meet Japanese techniques – this is the world of Nikkei cuisine.


The dishes will be paired with Japanese-inspired cocktails, while Sakura-themed décor completes the experience – an invitation to pause for a moment and simply enjoy.
Visit UMO between April 1 and 30 and immerse yourself in this unique atmosphere!


For the Sakura period, we are preparing dishes such as Takoyaki (crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside street food balls filled with octopus, served with various sauces) and Karaage (bite-sized pieces of fried chicken – extra crispy with rich umami texture), as well as Sakura’s most iconic dessert, Hanami Dango (mochi-like rice flour dumplings served on a skewer in different colors).


Alongside the food, we will offer three different Sakura-inspired cocktails, including ones based on Japanese gin, sake, and Japanese whisky.
We warmly welcome everyone who would like to take part in a Japanese journey alongside UMO’s Latin American culinary tour!
